Kuiburi Elephants

Although wild elephant is not an endangered species, we need to make enough forest so the wild elephants will not come out of the forest to get food. This is to reduce the conflict between human and elephants.

WWF-Thailand collaborate with Kui Buri National Park and the Kui Buri Wildlife Conservation Network, government agencies, private sectors, and local communities to reduce conflicts between human and elephants. We arranged the wildlife habitat improvement activities such as planting grassland, making artificial salt licks, making a pan of water for wild elephants and other herbivores etc.

This is an ongoing activity which covers an area of more than 630 acre and aims to expand to 1,200 acre which will cost a lot more and awaiting for your continuously support.

Please join us in making change

Not only to Kui Buri but also to the world by making donation to support us to be able to carry on those activities to maintain the ecosystem which is the same system that humans must rely on.
